Get him some good sized branches to chew on. He's bored and likes to chew wood so give him wood.

EXERCISE him!!!   He's bored and is trying to keep from going crazy with boredom!  Exercise him!! Throw ball or stick daily, several times,  for retrieval, OR walk, run, bike or skate with him on leash. Animals =responsibility, so do what you must to keep a reasonably  sane,  happy pet!!

There are products in your local pet store for this problem however, I have met a lot of Rottweilers and German Sheperds who could care less about bad tastes...You could try the pepper idea and also get the dog some chew toys or bones.  Many dogs just like to chew.  It's a dog thing.

He needs regular exercise everyday.  Buy  raw meaty beefbones in the Supermarket. Put them in the freezer, before you give him the bone. They love to chew on them and it is good for  theire teeth. and will keep him busy. Never give him cooked bones.

Put something bad tasting on the house (but not smelly...) and give him something else to chew on....

I play with my dogs and it stimulates their brains so take more time with him and he won't look for attention.

Sounds like to me he needs more attention than you are giving him he needs to stimulated gets some toys play with him take him for at least two walks a day and make the fist walk a long one if you did with him/her he wouldnt chew the dog house does he ever come into the house or is he just ayard dog he needs company this is no way to treat any animal I do hope he comes in the house when your home!!!!!

Use Lysol cleaning products on out side or rub pepper. It works great.

What is point having a dog, tied up, left to chew his dog house.. If you cant pay attention to your dog, play with, take for walk, etc, what is point of having the dog in first place ?

i just realized your dog picture. cut that horn off his head and let him chew that up. hell be less hostile. lol

He's prob bored. Take him for more walks. Play with him more.Get him a companion. Pay the neighood kids in cookies to take him for walks

Take away his dog house during the next heavy rain.

Goodness.....it's been five days since this question was posted.....the dog must have eaten the whole doghouse by now! So, no need to worry about it at this point in time.....just do the stone type doghouse as suggested by daren1 for dog's next "home"!..(:

ask him if he wants some salt and pepper with that! !
