    Can a person take too much actobacccillious to prevent yeast infections?

    Actobacccwhat? And yes, you can take too much of any medication....

    Do you mean Acidophilus which is a live culture found in some yoghurts? Presumably this just helps with digestion. Too much of this cannot be taken.


    Yeast infections are altogether different "Candidiasis" which is usually limited to the skin and mucous membranes uncommonly may become systemic. It can be caused by overuse of antibiotics.


    It can affect the mouth - thrush, vagina especially during pregnancy, under the breast if the folds of skin are in contact, intertrigo - better to place a piece of gauze or tissue between overnight. Around the anus or glans penis - it is also contagious sexually. Sometimes at the corner of the mouth. finger and toe nails. Treatment is with creams and sometimes steroids but rarely. If sexually transmitted both partners need treatment if it is recurrent.
