Description: 600ft elevation. 20 campsites and a separate day-use picnic area are located along the South Fork Skokomish River and Brown Creek. Campsites are shaded by conifer and hardwood trees. Activities include hiking the nature trail or other forest trails nearby, wildlife viewing at the beaver pond on the nature trail, and fishing or wading in the creek and river. Scenic driving on Hwy 101.
Location: From Hoodsport, go south 7 miles on Hwy 101 to Skokomish Valley Road, then 5 miles west to FR 23, then right 9 miles on FR 23 to FR 2353, then 3/4 mile to a bridge,cross it and turn right on FR 2340 to the site. Latitude: 47.41334 Longitude: -123.31893
