This is a question best answered by taking your cat to the vet for a check up there could be a reason for it as in maybe urinary tract infection, bladder isssues, etc. Also, I have been a cat owner all my life and still am. I have learned to have my male cats neutered well before they turn 6 mo. old never had a spraying problem because they never matured enough to learn that habit before being neutered. But as I stated that there could be health issues involved is why the cat is doing this as he may very well have an infection and trying to tell you. It does indeed need to be checked by a vet.


Also, you did not state what kind of cat. If the cat is a Savannah well guess what you are stuck with spraying for the rest of its life they are bred with a servel which is an African wild animal and that is what they do.

The cat is spraying to mark his territory, and letting the other animals know that he is the boss. You can try isolating him for awhile and see if that helps. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get an animal to change habits.

They have a product that you can plug in (like an air freshener) that is supposed to keep you cat from spraying. You can ask your local vet about it & see what they say. He could be acting out if he is jealous. Good luck

cuz he is a male and he thinks he is a full male and if u have other cats and that r males its a dominant thing all males do even if there fixed and go 2 petsmart and get spay away spray and put it on where he goes i work at petsmart and i rescue many cats try it and theres many other stuff u can get
