La Gi (https://pronounced:/la-zi/) is a District-level town (th? xã) of Bình Thu?n, Vietnam. Under Republic of Vietnam period, La Gi was the provincial capital of Bình Tuy Province (present-day western Bình Thu?n Province). After the Vietnam War, it became the capital of Hàm Tân District. It was established in 2005 with split Hàm Tân District into La Gi town and Hàm Tân District.
La Gi is borders with new Hàm Tân District in north and west, Hàm Thu?n Nam District in east and South China Sea in south. It is subdivided into 5 wards: Tân An, Ph??c H?i, Ph??c L?c, Tân Thi?n, Bình Tân and 4 communes: Tân Ph??c, Tân Ti?n, Tân H?i, Tân Bình.
It is on the coastal road from Binh Chau, via L?c An beach to Ph??c H?i, ??t ??.[1]
