Go to the Steck-Vaughn website. This publisher of educational materials has sample test questions for free on its website. Especially helpful is the option to click "feedback" after answering a question; not only does this give you the right answer, it explains why it is the right answer. You can also submit all of your answers for grading to get an approximate idea of how you would do on the actual GED.

Visit the American Council on Education website. The American Council on Education is the group that develops and administers the GED. Not only does their site explain how the process works and where you can take the test, it also has sample questions.

Try the complete test at 4Tests.com. Most sites charge you to take GED practice tests online, but this site has one available for free. You can choose which components you want to take, such as only mathematics or all components.
