You may think that stars are only visible at night, but they don’t really go anywhere...we do!
The sun, which is Earth’s closest star, seems to rise and set, but that's because the Earth is actually rotating around it. During the day when our part of the Earth is facing the sun, the blue light coming from it (the same light that makes the sky blue!) is so bright that we can't see the anything else. It's only at night, when we are facing away from the sun, that all of the other stars in the sky finally get a chance to shine!
