Its possible to do one without the other.Hate is a thing and it attracts negative energy like a fly strip attracts flies. Counter productive in any ones life . I belive you can remind the universe from time to time that justice is due.May you recive exactly as you have given no more no less should be the request. In any event you have no time for this negative stuff if you are busy with a happy life . I wish to ues my available brain cells on making this journey the best it can be for me.Should there be someone who wishes to share this with me I promise I wont waste your time .Thats all there is to say on this matter.                                 Bill

    Hi Bill.

"Hate" is an awful, awful word (unless you are talking about worm sandwiches), it is too strong to be used and thrown around. Don't "hate" anything except for maybe worm sandwiches (LOL)...

I hated someone for a long long time .... Eventually that feeling went away and now it is clear between us.

I don't know that it was wrong for me to hate her. I really don't. I could not change it. Time did the change.

Pray for them enough and you will get them out of your head Forgiveness is the opposite of resentment

Resentment is to keep playing the video of them in our mind over and over again and so make ourself sicker and sicker

We edit the video everytime we play it so they become worse and we become more innocent

Water this resentment with a few nights lack of sleep and in our minds they become the devil and we an angel

     - This is the mental equal of us taking poison and expecting them to die!

To release yourself from this self imposed mental prison pray for them (start through gritted teeth if you must) but persivere - just remember they have gone their merry way enjoying life while you are only hurting yourself and not hurting them

This sounds very familiar- and great advice!!!!...get rid of that 666 (PLEASE)

I had a great problem forgiving someone for a very serious event in my life...One Pastor I talked to said Forgiveness sometimes is one step forward and two steps back, But keep attempting the forward steps!!!  Meaning keep trying to forgive!  Another Pastor told me the forgiveness was for me to cleanse the wound left behind!  Forgiving that person would free me from the hate.....It works but sometimes it takes a long time!!!
