I was working in a day care health center for seniors. An RN ran to me saying, "its 911!" I thought she was referring to an inmate who required ambulance service. Then she asked me to watch the TV. OMG, there was an inferno on a tall building. Down on the roads people were running for life. My wife called and asked me to go home early. When I reached home, I watched the TV. The burning on the building continued. Finally the building collapsed. I was sure that thousands of people must have been trapped in it. It has been ten years. I cannot forget this tragedy.

Was in U.S, on holidays, Was travelling from Branson to New York with a friend, when it was announced on the radio in the coach. Our guide was trying to explain to group of us, what had happened. My friend and I didnot fully understand,( I doubt many people on coach did understand) until we saw it on TV at our Hotel in Manhatten. We were in so much shock, we had to switch TV off. We did return the following year and went to Ground Zero. I will never forget it.

My son had surgery that morning at 7 am.. we came home and I went to sleep... My hubby woke me and said, "is it normal for a plain to hit a sky scraper".... I thought that he meant a plane nicked the anntena.... Butjust before the second plane hit.. he said... "Mica, you really need to come see this. Was Leland on schedual for today in NYC"? Then I realized he was seriously concerned. (Leland is my cousin who is an airline attendant).
