Black connects to negative and red connects to positive, attach each end to the battery terminals of each car and start the engine of the car that is giving the charge to the car that has the flat battery, after a minute or so start the other car and it should be good to go but it should be driven for half hour so the charge fully kicks in.

With a name such as yours, I am wondering if you are testing us. Connect as Pythonlover says with one exception. The last connection should be a black end and it should go to a good metal ground instead of the battery (to avoid a spark at the battery). Always be careful that the cable ends do not touch each other during the installation.

A completely dead battery may require the cables to remain connected a couple minutes before starting the car.
