Well for others experiencing knee pain. Consider your age, if young, its probably an injury, could be minor but also could be serious, go to a doctor. Pain constant, even when laying down. see a doctor.
If you are older, Probably normal wear and tear, it can me excruciating - I have it, I am at a point in life now that i can not even go to the grocery store due to pain. cartledge wears down, mensicus -- Bone to bone, it begins chipping, particles of bone get in the way of smooth operation of the joint, when these 'chips' get stuck, they will lock your knee and the pain is unbearable. There's surgery where they will make small holes and clean it out, however, new pieces will form and the kneepain resumes. There's cortozone treatments, Some people get a week from it painfree, others 6 months. Problem I have with Cort. is that it is a steroid and it is bad on your heart.
lastly, and finally you will consider replacement of the knee, they have succeeded in millions of these operations worldwide and they are very effective on getting you back on life's track. although it was not successful for my mother and due to her failure, I have fear of it. I d o think after seeing so many people that have successfully gone through it, I will be considering it soon.
