What makes you think they turned black? Did it ever occur to any of you that they might have started out that way and that when some of them migrated to Europe their skin color, their hair texture, etc. might have undergone a genetic mutation as a result?

Correct, that is what happened, as far as I have read. Fair skin is a mutation that helped people adapt to the lack of sunlight in some regions of the planet.
Nonsense! Look at black folks palms and soles. Those are the areas that receive the least sunlight. I'm sticking with my sun theory. :stanley:
It's not nonsense simply because it doesn't jibe with whatever racial views you have. And how does that negate what I said anyway? If they moved to the desert where did they move to the desert from? The oldest human remains were found in Africa. Since Africa is hotter than Europe any fair complexioned baby born there would have suffered under it's strong sunlight. That's not nonsense. It's science.
Cain, killed his brother Able and the Lord said, Genesis 4:12 When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.”
13 Cain said to the LORD, “My punishment is more than I can bear. 14 Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”
15 But the LORD said to him, “Not so, anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16 So Cain went out from the LORD’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
Now, I don't know this as fact, but who is to say that mark wasn't blackness?
