    Yes, until the person who reads the email does an internet protocol search. Someone who knows what he's doing can find not only the IP address of the original sender, but find all the IP's along the way. I do it all the time when I am curious about scammers. The funniest scammers from Nigeria all use the same coffee house. Just for s and grins one day, I went on a public account at the library and sent the seven computer IP's an email with the picture of the coffee house i got off of google earth and the words, and asked how they liked their coffee along with copies of their spam.


    So if you are looking to do some hate mail, don't do it on the computer because it can be traced back to you or the computer IP you send it out on.
