My brother & my sister are both so allergic to bee stings that they carry anti venom & syringes with them everywhere they go. It is so severe in my brother that one bee sting could put him in a coma.On the other hand I am virtually immune to bee & wasp stings. They sting for a couple of seconds but have no other effect on me.Go figure?

I carry an epipen all the time. My doctor also told me it could get worse. I have been stung since that first time and one time the reaction was severe enough to warrant the shot and another time it wasn't. Ask your doctor if you can wait to see how bad your reaction is before the shot is needed. The stings can kill so be careful- follow the doctors orders, please!
