    Well, just got a new monitor, and Colleen,

    It appears you don't know everything. Mine is not doing the time display. Anyhow, power out =no monitor.
    Thank you for the nice answers and whomever saw fit to nitpick and be mean needs to do a mirror exercise. If interested, ask.

    Geez, you sure are whiny and I do know everything. Apparently you do not know how to fix or set the clock on your computer. I can tell you how to do that. The computer operating system controls the clock, not your monitor. A new monitor is no excuse


    POWER ON when your electricity came back and if you knew how to show the clock on your computer, you would have known what time it was. As it is, I always know what time it is according to my spot in the world. I now know two things you didn't know. Clock on computer and what time it is.


    Do you always make excuses like above because you DON'T know everything?


    Buy a battery operated clock and if you need help setting it, let me know, I can give you step by step instructions. :)
