    I remember that a Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium is impossible to occur in nature. It can only happen in a labratory, controlled, environment. That is because in a Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium there is no change in a specific population size either environmently or genetically. Everything remains constant generation after generation. Not sure whats on Chapter 13 of what book though.
