    Exercise, eat healthy, and take a good multivitamin and omega-3 fish oils.

    The stomach will shrink if you don’t fill it . The problem is hunger pangs. When I don’t need to eat but feel hungry….usually a day or so after a large meal. I like to eat Italian pickled vegetables on or with my salad. The vinegar in the vegetables reduces the production of stomach acid, flatulence and helps to shrink the stomach. The tendency to over eat is controllable but requires vigilance and persistence in recognizing and using foods and beverages toward your goals. 

    Eat popcorn which is naturally high in fiber, low in calories, contains no sodium, and is sugar free.  It is an ideal snack for people with dietary restrictions on the intake of calories, fat, and/or sodium.

    Stay away from sugar and the bad starchy foods....limit your calorie intake.....stay active...if you are unable to exercise for health reasons at least try to walk and swim if you have access to a pool.
