Time for professional help . With the email from him up on your screen find show details  .This will give a IP address . Go to reverse email search on Google  look for who owns this address. You can find a address or location this way. Then go to 100best websites on google there are lots of search engines there ,you will see the possibilities when you get there . Get a secondary email and communicate with that one . He has you blocked so no mail from you arrives in his in box from you and your address.1,500 is not enough money to get law enforcement excited . Most crooks aren't really smart mostly just clever. You can hack his email change his password and have control of his email account and see whats being done denies him access to his own mail . This is against the law and you will do time if you are caught!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it worth the time ???? Second thoughts : The saying follow the money comes to mind . Credit card payments can be disputed and stopped . Checks can be followed as well . The crooks desire is to muddy the waters until you grow weary of chaseing them . Try this track and see where it takes you . Sorry for your loss .
