Launch Internet Explorer. Press the "F11" key if Internet Explorer is maximized to return it to normal view.

Right-click the menu bar and select "Customize..." Choose "Add or Remove Commands..."

Select "Back" from the "Available toolbar buttons" list and click "Add."

Click close and locate the back button.

Mozilla Firefox

Launch Mozilla Firefox. Click the "View" menu and select "Toolbars" and "Customize."

Click the "Restore default set" button and click "Done."

Click the "Start" button and select the "Mozilla Firefox" folder. Click the "Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)" icon to launch Firefox.

Check the box next to "Reset toolbars and controls" and click "Make Changes and Restart."
