Expert is referring to your spelling of the word EXCITED.  You left out the "C", making the word EXITED, which is past tense of the word "EXIT", which means to depart, leave, go away.

If I were going back to school, I would be beyond excited.  I would be ecstatic at the opportunity to learn and to socialize with other people (students, teachers, staff, everyone).

If I were a teacher going back to school, I would be hopeful that my students would be respectful of each other as well as myself, that we would have self-imposed discipline, and that we would share a year filled with learning, laughter, and positive reinforcement.  (How smarmy can ya get). I'd be excited about the opportunity to teach students who were enthusiastic, interested in learning about my subject, and the possibility I could make a difference in someone's life by being a good teacher my students could trust and confide in.
