    muscle mass

I've been exercising for 3 months 3-4 days a week. I've stayed within my calorie limits between 1200-1500 calories and I've lost muscle mass. Any suggestions why?

Like coach said depending on your age, you can try the heavy duty workout where you do 6 sets and 6 reps. It's a real intense workout, no cheat and strict. You should only do the heavy duty only if you have been working out a while. Try taking some supplements also, like amino acids. I hope that will work for you good luck!!

Are you sure you are lossing muscle mass??? could it possibly be fat or water .

It depends on your age and what your goals are. To increase mass, the average person should increase their resistance to the point that they can do no more that 8-10 reps per set.
