If you had the option of moving anywhere in the USA where would you go?

We live in SE Ohio now and love it but may move, where would be better, like country life with a couple acres.

This a no brainer.  You should consider Hawaii, Randy.

Gorgeous place, beautiful women, nice beaches and mountains, mild average temperature throughout the year, and best of all, it's the Land of Aloha.

I visited there and would like to go back but I felt a little trapped and don't think I could live there.
If my whole family would move I might consider it.

Anyone from Texas, I kind of like it.............

    abc123567

Not from Tx. but spent a few months in Austin-Round Rock & is one of best rated economies & places to live in U.S. Round Rock is usually in top 10 rated safest places to live in U.S. also.

Las Vegas.  The house price there has gone down tremendously.  Another attraction is buffet everywhere.

    WILMINGTON NORTH CAROLINA

Its where the BRIGHTEST akaQA brains are located. :)

    Headless Man

?- I'm not there now, how can that be?
    TSC

    Good answer. ;)
    Vinny

Thanks, I was wondering where my brain went.. If you see my brain out there in NC, would you please put it on a bus and send it back to CA where it belongs with me.. Stupid brain, I hate when it does that!!
    TSC

Going through there on the way to Indiana this weekend to visit family and looking at an RV.

Floyd County Va.!! Only <25000 population in the entire gorgeous Co. & is only 30 minutes south of Roanoke, Va-Pop. 200,000, & only 30 minutes to Va. Tech & Radford College. Only 3 hrs. to Charlotte, NC & ,4 hrs to D.C., <3 hrs to Raleigh-Durham, NC.

**Here's a little known, but awesome fact that is very rare. There is not one single drop of water that flows into this amazing Co. All the water in this Co. comes from springs within.

Bonus: It's in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns. of Va.-No Hurricanes, very seldom hear of a Tornado & only 1 Earthquake since 1897 of any magnitude in the entire state.

Great climate....& even though in the mountains, annual snowfall not bad at all.

    Thanks, sounds great.

If it is in the United States,
    Boston, Massachusetts
    Seattle, Washington
    Eureka, California
Or supply me with a luxury motor home and complimentary credit card.  I'll investigate North America and give you a more informed decision.
Hopefully I will be able to travel abroad someday. Who knows where my heart will find a home,

I'm a country man, don't like large cities.
    Bob/PKB

Most of my life has been lived in the country, surrounded by vineyards and orchards; while I mention Boton and Seattle, I'd certainly want to live on the outskirts, where it is quieter. Even my time actually living in Eureka was mostly spent in rural settings. Do you have a farm-type country home, or simply a home in the country?

wild horses couldn't drag me away from boston..we got it all including the bill to prove it...

I could never leave Austin, TX....

    Headless Man

    Seems like a HOT place.....
    jhharlan

This year we broke records, yes but, it's a great place to live...

for me there's nothing better than Australia, the far north beautiful and rugged, where you truly enjoy the outdoors, the west seasonal bot totally breathtaking, the east a mix of all, and the things  I like most is the relaxed & friendly atmosphere everywhere , we are a mix of nationalities, personalities and characters, wouldn't change a thing.

If I was leaving the USA that would be my first choice.....
    lambshank

Randy, you couldn't make a better choice, and Im sure you would enjoy,a truly beautiful land of opportunity

Randy, THINK BIG. Move to Canada. Lots of country space, not that different from home and "free" healthcare !  What are you waiting for ?

Oh yeah. Do you like hockey?

    Headless Man

Don't like hockey and I hear your healthcare sucks.
    digger

Don't believe a word from the American insurance industrial complex. Your current system works "just fine" by them.
Anyway, I was just being Canadian nice but if you really feel that way...
    lambshank

Canada sounds lovely digger, a place I'd love to see

Good for you for staying in Ohio,"the heart land". I'm in northeast Ohio.Just wish there were more job's to be had, love it here.

    Headless Man

Thanks, I like the SE where there it is less populated.

I already live where I would want to move to!!  Western North Carolina..........

    Headless Man

I think we have decided to stay here in SE Ohio, but might visit all these places.
    michmar118

That's cool. I was born a mid-western girl, Wisconsin, but was brought to the South as a girl. Lived in Fayetteville, NC and Tampa/St. Pete, Fl, but love it here the best. Even though I love living here, my true heart still resides in WI, with great extended family I have so much fun with and miss and love......so I totally understand your decision to stay put!! Hope you can visit many or all of these places!

I like Cadbot lodge ,with jessica flecher, and the shefif,

Randy,   Where in Ohio you hail from??  I am originally from Hamilton, That would be southwest Ohio..

    Vinny

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that, I asked what city.. LOL.. Assuming you're not in a one horse town with a population of 3.. LOL There's a lot of those in Ohio, at least 12 of them within 15 miles of my home town of Hamilton in Southwest Ohio (Cincinnati area) HA!

No brainer for me: I'l stay were I am - Irvine, California, USA, Earth.

    Randy

If you like the country and open spaces, home with acreage you probably live in one of the most lovely places on the planet.  I leve near there and  I've driven through SE Ohio and its beautiful.

    Headless Man

    I think your right......

LAS VEGAS  NV  MORE EXCITING THINGS GOING ON THERE AROUND THE CLOCK.  JUST DO NOT START GAMBLING.  HOT IN SUMMER AND COLD IN WINTER.  BUT EVERYTHING IS A/C

Don't come to CA, we got too many already! :)

    Headless Man

    Don't worry..............lol
    Vinny

Can you take some of ours??? Just don't take our states beauty spots and the Pacific Ocean, I wanna keep that here.. :)
