If you can become "FAMOUS" at spelling first I think you're in with a shot.

Besides being a great player the fickled finger of fame will point you out of a crowd for just-about-any outta place, unusual or comic behavior..... the dark side of fame is important to avoid.  But there are ways to brake loose without defaming yourself. I look for openings in the rules of the game for instance.....can you score by holding the ball between your feet and summer-salt to release the ball into the goal, or use the move the ball up....release ank kick.  I don't know if that would be legal or not but it certainly seems like it could be a crowd pleaser.

If you refer to the sport as "soccer", I'd say you have a better chance of becoming famous at hockey, baseball, basketball or American football.

If you start  young and work hard and have supportive parents that spend a lot of money on you for trainers, equipment, soccer clothing..; flying you to different countries,and flying themselves there to watch you.  Professional sports, such as horse jumping, or tennis is  80 %  opportunities, and 20 %  talent.
