I agree, strange as it may seem.
The first president of the WT Society used to preach:
'Religion is a snare and a racket.' (Pastor Russel 1852-1916)
His successor, an American High Court Judge gave a lecture in the Albert Hall in 1927 which started:
'My predecessor once said "Religion is a snare and a racket." but I say to you religion is a snare and a filthy racket.' He continued in the vein for over two hours. (Judge Rutherford)
I would love to have been there. I understand the front rows were packed with high ranking British clergymen and the isles were covered by burly bouncers for anyone who wanted to cause trouble. by disrupting the speaker.
Yet both these men were fastidious bible students and masterly preachers of Gods word.
No disrespect to those above who are probably quite sincere in their belief but Satan has seen to it that traditional religions are strewn with falsehood and traps for the unwary and the Gullible.

I think Satan probably created the "non-traditional" religions that so many are getting tangled up in nowadays. How unwary and gullible are those who are convinced to never know Jesus Christ or read God's word.
Sounds like you are one of those people???

I'm in prayer for direction in my life.....a career path (at this late point in life), relationships, dealing with family problems, my faith.
I'm not sure that I will initially LIKE what/where/how God directs me, but knowing that God has given the direction, I can take those steps with confidence, knowing that He will be with me at every obstacle and triumph. I hope I am smart enough to follow God's directions!
And once I begin to follow that path God has for me, how could I be more delighted? That's exactly what I want to do--MY DESIRE IS TO DO GOD'S WILL!

Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Just the other day I was talking to people on Facebook and said I don't pray to Jesus that I may go to Heaven, when I pray I thank Jesus for His gift of allowing us to be forgiven. I trust that Jesus will provide everything I need and if not then that is what is meant to be. I trust. I have faith.
