What you have is planters fascitis. It's a bad pain that runs along the bottom of the foot.Fascia is fibros, connective tissue . You have that on the soles of your feet , and they get inflamed when you have a job or a sport, where you do a lot walking that involves stopping short and twisting and turning. Waitresses and nurses, and nursing assistants tend to get it. Some have it so bad, they can hardly walk ,and have to go to physical therapy .It may occur in people that have ankylosing spondilytis ( rheumatism of the spine )
Rest the area and protect it from pressure. Wear cusioned pads in shoes.Try soaking feet in epsom salts 2X per day.
