No, Alcohol is fine, DRUNKS and those that misuse it should be illegal.. There is nothing wrong with one of the oldest people pleasing relaxants since the earliest of times.  I believe religious dissent of alcohol stems from the misuse and that in some turn to alcoholism and then to violence.  This is not the beverages fault, it is the fault of a weak mind.  Like blaming the gun for murdering someone, which they do blame the gun.. so... abolishing alcohol because a few idiots come home and beat their wives etc makes it the alcohol's fault, this IMO is silly.. I do not drink but only because I just have not acquired the taste for 'booze' or beer for that matter.. I will have a sip to be social at times but rarely..  why do people continue to look for ways to take our rights away???  I will assume you don't drink either so therefore, nobody should??? Even the casual drinker that likes to have that 'nightcap' before retiring for the evening??

no, proibition ended some75+ years ago, although it is still illeagle in parts of alaska and some muslem countries !
