People get mad when they are presented with concepts beyond their comprehension and told to accept them based on faith.  People want tangible proof of darned near everything, and many faiths advocate morals, some of which are challenging for us.

people get mad because people want to be right in what they think.  if somebody comes along and says, your viewpoint is wrong and mine is right . . . some people get mad.  that's why we've had so many wars in this world.  and don't bring religion into the picture.  that's where each religion says they are the only, the righteous, the only ones that truly talks to God.  And religions will fight all day and all night over who is right and who really really truly knows God the best.

Take a look at the other side of that coin.Say you were at home minding your own business,half way thru doing something that you had been planning for a while.There's a knock at the door...You answer it & there is someone standing there getting in your face telling you that you are a darn fool for believing in your God & there are going to be repercussions if you don't snap out of it.How would you react? The fact is,Nobody wants to know what your opinion is,if they did they would ask.If they are seeking that sort of enlightenment then they can always go to church or the Temple or whatever.
