Prostate cancer may not have symptoms in it early stages.  When in advanced stage, the following signs may appear:

Trouble urinating

Decreased force in the stream of urine

Blood in the urine/semen

Swelling in the legs

Discomfort in the pelvic area

Bone pain.

If you have any of these symptoms, see your doctor.

having gone through the whole prostate cancer thing less than a year ago and reading several books on it, you won't always have symptoms(I didn't) so the best indicator is psa readings-a normal might be 3.0 so watch for spikes in the readings(a simple blood test will determine your norm) mine went to 7.5 and the 10.0 and now it's down to nothing because I had my prostate removed. See your doctor.

If  you have a  close relative who has had prostrate cancer  and u  r around 40 have  a blood test  psa and u  r 50 and over  get  it done  asap. next  ask your doctor  about it he'll be able to give  you the best advise.  myself I had  my prostrate remover 10 yrs ago    so  yes I too am alive because of  psa test and doctor exam
