Bipolar and manic depression are one and the same.....was engaged to a man with this disorder. Multiple personalities is different from bipolar....try googling your question for more explanation on this...(:

The thing about her that was very strange was that one day she could look terrible-almost like she was ready for the streets and the next day she could put herself together and look like a model. Really.
I was always at her to take her medication. She held a job. Walked her dogs and seemed to find her way into a new environment better than I did.

about a year ago,a neighbord told me she is bi-polar and she seems like normal,I mean like there is nothign wrong with her at all...She told me she takes medicine and when she takes her medication,she feels ok ...It was the first time that I heard about bi-polar existed...She said that it is like having mood swings...Now,this is a little scary because I too have mood swings when I am on my menses...but I am not bi-polar...the doctors would have told me...I go to them on a regular basis

Multipliable personalities, is a fracture/split in the personality, developing into separate individuals in the same host.
Bi-polar is depression with manic episodes. They maybe depressed for days, weeks, then have a manic period. They will go out buy beyond their means writing bad checks, talk non stop how great they are, go days without sleep. I know a few of these people and the thing they did during a manic phase was pretty scary.
Both are pretty sad.
Oh, I'm going by what I have seen, not researched.

Multipal personality disorder is now known as D.I.D (discosiative Identidy Disorder), it is when the a persons identaty fragments into two ot more personalities.
Szcitaprania (spelled wrong), is very close to bi polar disorder. However, some cases report hearing voices. Not of ones own personality. But there is a manic depression accocoiated with the disorder.
Bi Polar is extreme mood swings. From very high and energetic to very low and lathergic.
I think ppl get DID and Szcit. confussed with one another.. Szcit, is very common while D.I,D is xtremely rare.

I know to many. Most are good people with a very bad problem/health issue.I am very careful dealing with people. Just be careful.
There was a woman that would home in on a people follow them home, then scream in their yard to stop raping her. This would go on for hours.
One man went to sheriff dept to register his body as a deadly weapon.
I can go on and on......
