"THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH" IN THE BOOK OF MATTHEW NOT SURE WHERE OFF HAND ,COULD FIND OUT IF YOU WANT?

    Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

That the meek shall inherit the earth.....

The very first commision was given by Constine, a Roman Dictator, a Ceasar, first Pope, to the Ante Nicene Fathers, thus the Catholic Tradition was born. Thus began Orthodox/Fundamental WARS, for the sake of Religion. Again and again I say there is none such thing as a Religious war, save wars of dogma and traditions.:(

The "King James Version" of the bible is what an ignorant King, guided by his ignorant consulors, declared what would be allowed in it. The commission to script or write it was given to Sir Frances Bacon. Although it is but a marvelous paste up, it is my favorite version, I like the thee's and thy's and such. Of course Sir Frances Bacon is the Master that wrote the Shakespearean works, thus the influence of style can be felt in the King James Version of the Christian Bible. Happily I have all the versions of the Christian Bible including the missing portions or pieces of the Bible including the books of the missing Apostles male and female. :)

Randy, One need only consider their great effort regarding these holy things to control the minds of the masses, by misinformation. They deliberatly, left out important and most pertinent texts, or they had knowledge of them but didn't understand. This is just ignorance raised up to its new station. Knowledge without understanding! Yikes! This is even worse. Particularly effort to control minds. Thus by their works I do know them well, fundamentlists all.

You must think allot of your self to call these people ignorant when you never knew them.

. . . . this is, the meek shall inherit . . .the kingdom of heaven.

It does not mean foot prints on ones chest, it reflects courage and a strong Spirit.

Good examples are abraham, isaac or mardochai. They all were meek, and not in vane.

Meek persons are teachable (Psalm 25:9 says... He will cause the meek ones to walk in [his] judicial decision,And he will teach the meek ones his way)

Seek righteousness, seek meekness [or, humbleness; humility] is said at Zephaniah 2:3
