      I guess a Dolphin is as close as you can get to communicating with and animal.

        I've never had a conversation with one, but Dolphins are the most intelligent NON-HUMANS on the planet.

        TSC...this is exacly what I was thinking...having a conversation with an animal...this is what we humans refer to as talking...exchanging different ideas and waiting for the other to respond to what we say

        so it seems to be quite absurd to you for animals to talk like humans?so why researchers are pushing some to talk like humans,teaching them sign language and other things of that nature so they can communicate and doctors can get cures for many diseases thru learning more about animals?

        i think it would be great to be able to speak to my cat and have her feedback of things...they did it with that movie star right?Sabrina...and her black cat...I understand that not everything on TV is real but they sure trying to make people believe a lot of their nonsense...LOL..

            i was thinking about talking as if they have thoughts,ideas etc...talking and giving us ideas on how to be better humans and leave at peace...what they seem to have that we lack when we admire them in communities
