Different drugs have different effects on our bodies. Prescription drugs are generally beneficial, but misuse can cause illness or death. Illegal drugs aren't good for anyone.

great question...just my input now:illegal or not illegal I would add ...just because a country makes a drug legal does not change the fact that such drug is not harmful;the drugs which cause intoxication,loss of memory,break damage,nervous break-down etc...are all harmful to society,families are broken,children lose their parents to emphetamines,heroin,etc...sorry for the misspelling...so many reasons why drugs are bad..they cause hallucinations and all types of horrible end to the victims who take and abuse them as well as the people that are around the ones who use them.

If recreational drugs were legalised governments could tax them. Crime rates would drop, and the tax could be spent on rehabilitation of addicts. The war against drugs has been lost, but governments will not change their policy.
