Soul has free will whether in a body or not. God does not take away free will once Soul no longer has a physical body. Soul is allowed to visit the physical world, it just accepts that it can not linger and stay overly long because this world is not the reality it belongs to anymore. *My opinion before anyone jumps on what I said.

Anything is possible!  My first reaction was "no", but I think one's spirit could "visit" with loved ones on some level....I just don't understand it.

Yes...and I plan on spending more quality time with Santa Claus,the Easter Bunny and the Energizer Bunny...and Bugs,of course.

I think your spirit goes to heaven, or the other place. But, it wouldn't suprize me if a spirit hangs around for a little while after  he / she dies, to make sure their loved ones are doing ok. After my husb died, I had 5 visits !.....from his spirit.  After my mom died, I swear someone was nudging my bed and pulling at teh covers. My cousin told me my mom was pulling the covers up .  :-)  

When I die, I die, my spirit lives on in the hearts of those whose lives I have touched, period! 

Good question.  I really don't think anybody really knows.  People speculate all the time.  That's one reason we have hundreds of religions.  I believe in God for several reasons.  A cat cannot type and and does not spend time trying to. We cannot see who, or where we visit after we die. But we spent a lot of time trying to figure that very important and mysterious point out.
