Religion questions are always touchy (I am not sure why, but that's the way it seems to be).  I do not believe Lucifer was "allowed" to do any more or less than we are "allowed" to do so many years later.  I believe God did not create us in order to pull our strings as though we are puppets/marionettes.  We are created with free will, brains, choices.  Most of us have a clear cut definition of what is OK and what isn't OK.  Whether we choose to go with the instinct (or law, or rule, or whatever pushes you in a direction) to do what is OK or choose to rebel and go in another direction is entirely up to us.  It is really OLD having people pose questions like this one, along with that tired, "If God really loves us, why does He allow bad things to happen?"

The answer to that one (in MY never-to-be-humble opinion) is that God doesn't ALLow bad things; he allows us to choose our own paths.  Sometimes those poor choices collide with innocent people (like a drunk driver killing someone in an accident). 

I agree with Colleen.  If you want to enlighten and educate, that's one thing; If you are out there trying to push your agenda, go somewhere else. 

Thanks for your question, though.  It made me think about how to answer it satisfactorily.
