Sachin Tendulkar seems to be the current favourite closely followed by Sir Donald Bradman.

best batsman of all time,it is impossible to answer,if you say Bradman it is because he has a batting avg better than anyone in the world, living or dead,,but then he played less games than Sachin,,but then Bradman played in an era of different, balls, bat, pitch, bowlers, protection, training academy, and yes rules,,,Sachin, did not have a job, cricket was his job,,sachin trained in an academy,,Bradman trained with a stump and ball against a water tank,,Sachin had a helmet, chest guard, wrist guard, hip guard, bradman had none of that,,and i am not a 100 percent sure he wore a box,but i know Sachin did,,i think it is better to judge a player on the merits of his time ,,,,always nice talking,,bradman had a batting avg of 99.94,,most batsman are lucky to be over an avg of 60,,sachin had a avg of 53,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
