    • Blood tests

      • Full blood count and ESR

      • Electrolytes (to detect low potassium, low sodium and low calcium which may cause generalized muscle aches)

      • ANA autoantibodies to detect systemic lupus erythematosus

      • Muscle enzymes, if suspect muscle disease

      • Trichinella antibodies, if suspected
