Bluenoser:  congrats.  You now have become more skeptical about the whole media process.  It's called "sensationalization".  This process has made the stock market extremely volatile than it needed to be in the last decade or so, yet they all swear they want the market to go up.  Go figure.

lol.....this deserves the million thumbs it should have on here.....GREAT QUESTION THAT ALREADY HAS ITS ANSWER WITHIN...LOL...all the crap they say on air...lol...in my opinion,they have no idea it is crap until they read twice what they r told to repeat...lol...but it is sad as well when U think many rely on news from mass media....others just don't give any thought...i guess...most will tell U ...this is why i do not watch the news....but sometimes we have 2...to know the difference...so many lies...it is not even funny anymore...many get distorted ideas and beliefs about certain people and certain cultures...unbeievable

Many program directors decide what is going to be on the news. Often it is told to anouncers, somebody writes it up, sometimes announcers. What comes out of mouths is based on philosophy of the network owners. Even music stations now have program directors. Music played on major stations is not D.J. choice.
