    my dog pants at night,what could be th e reason for this

    ....factors such as humidity, feeding too late, temperature and liver problems may be the concern

    They usually pant when they're too hot ,or thirsty 

    I was watching a vet programme on television a little while ago, and he was examining a dog which was in pain. He said the reason it was panting was that it was in pain. and it was panting rather than getting aggressive, while it was being examined.
