They're a bit different from the ones we made when we were kids.
We made them from any baby carriage wheels and scrap wood that we could find. Now they are high tech and not cheap to build. I think the charm of how we did it made us more resourceful and caused us to problem solve more with development of engineering skills. How hard is it to buy a kit and assemble it?
We were "upcycling and recycling" and were already green! Long before the yuppies thought it a good idea! My paperboy used to deliver used clothes in bottom of his paper bag for my family, from his mom. And I remember the rag man, as there were no bins at shopping centers then... If that wasn't green, what was?
