Daisy is a common garden flower that insects of all type avoid. Red Daisy’s aka Pyrethrin Daisy is available by seed. The oils in this plant are safe so far are as I know. The plant is widely used in insecticide sprays. Pyrethrin ¼ oz fresh or dried, liquified into 1gallon of water and ¼ tsp of Dawn dish soap and filtered through a coffee filter then sprayed kills flies. wasps and fleas. I like to use late season pyrethrin as it’s potency is higher.
