Most African Americans are DEMOCRATS. Senator Obama at that time, a DEMOCRAT running for president, was one of the main reasons he got most of our votes and won the presidency. Birds of a feather flock together, true in a sense. We flocked together then, and we will flock together, now. As for hand-outs, African Americans are not the only ethic group with their hands out. Speaking for myself as an African American and many others like me are living a good life style without the help or assistant FROM the government. Yes, we had a dream and it was fulfilled, like so many other ethic groups have a dream. 

Putting Obama into office was very historic for most African Americans as well as for other ethic groups. I am proud to say, I was one of the ones to help achieve his goal as President of The United States of America.

We, as African Americans as well as other ethic groups WILL HELP President Obama get re-elected.

We do not thumbs down for opinions here. All opinions are welcome and not everyone is going to agree with each other. Whatever you believe, what I put is the truth for a lot of the votes he got. He promised to pay these things if elected. Then once in, he made the claim his words were misunderstood.

Since the promise to support the people who voted him in this time around never appeared, they are going to try and vote him in again to give him 4 more years to fulfill that promise that he now claims he didn't make. People are still looking for him to pay for their necessities. I voted for him to keep McCain and Palin out. I will not make the mistake of voting for him again.

OBAMA born chinese year of the rat like NIXON and BUSH. OBAMA has oodles of charm but what else? OBAMA was actually born a year later he is chinese year of the Buffaloe - not so very much difference though in polotics - he was 50 years old a few days ago born August 1961 Leo/Buffaloe quite powerful.

Maybe because he is of black origin and perhaps something to do with Martin Luther King "I have a dream" Did they - I mean so many vote. I should have said mixed race - I know that.

Actually he is of both black and white origin. He just looks more black than white but I agree, he was voted in based on skin color more than anything else as the people had no political record to vote him in for.
