I grew up in Selma, California, lived in Reedley, California for two years during community college, then moved to Humboldt County (northwestern California) for 14 years. I lived in Arcata, McKinleyville, and Eureka while there. I have been back in Central California since 1986, living for a while in Fowler, then Selma, and now Fresno. I hope you haven't wasted your time visiting in Fresno!

Been thru Fresno and Eureka many times, always thought Lake Shasta was awesome heck I guess i have been all over the country, I was a long haul truck driver long time. Still miss the hiway.

My dad had a short haul trucking company (mostly to SF, Oakland, LA ports). Sometimes the drivers would come to the yard in the middle of the night because they had to be at port at 7 AM. I could see the lights on the truck and hear the engines warming up. I so wanted to climb up in one of them and go for a ride! Some had sleepers, too. Man, just once, I wish I'd have gone.
Lake Shasta is beautiful. Sure miss the area. :D

Dowsa A few years ago a lady friend and I went on a Carrribean cruise. aboard the ship was the sweetest little lady from Scotland she was vacationing with her brother, I had very hard time understanding her with her Scottish accent but she was truly a delightful person.

Hi my friend.A lot of people like Scotland We get a lot of tourist.They like the Highlands /lowlands is our Famous River clyde were ships like the Queen Mary were built.Thats where i live Greenock .Mc Manus a well known name.Held a family seat County Roscommon .Settled in Philadelphia about 1840-60.The air is "fresh summer when it comes nice hot.Ship building is gone now Thanks to the "Tory party ms Thatcher.But we have our SNP party in All is getting better .Thank you My friend D nanners I do wish you luck "Hit the Lottery.You will be welcome bless you .

Hi there "Hong Kong" gal....

I almost made it to Hong Kong back in Nov. 2000, had to settle for Singapore instead. Oh what a wonderful city that was, so clean and everyone was so very nice, but the time there was way too short.

Living in Oceanside, CA, I'm just north of San Diego, CA. The weather here is just wonderful!! We never get too warm here in the summer nor do we ever get that cold in the winter. In fact I have a small fan that runs 24/7 all year here in my bedroom and of course always have my bedroom & kitchen windows open for the nice breeze that comes from the ocean. Have been truly Blessed to live here in this wonderful area...

Do come and check out Oceanside, there is so much to do here.. I just might have a new neighbor??
