In conservative synagogues, males and females can sit together during services. Likewise, in reform ones. If weddings are held there, the opposite sexes can dance with each other. Certain aspects of prayer services in these synagogues are not as strictly held as they are in orthodox congregations. In an egalitarian conservative congregation, men and women are treated as equals during services. Women can be called up to the Torah, and read a passage from it (known as getting an aliyah). It's a relatively new practice, which has alienated some congregations' members. Orthodox congregations prohibit this practice, while certain reform ones practice egalitarianism.
