Probably, but I won't be bowling in Georgia until the Nationals is held there. I'm stuck in Nevada (Reno and Las Vegas) for the next decade)
You are sweet to ask. Didn't get to practice before state tournament. In nine games, I managed a high of 208 and a low of, ugh, 120. It was fun, though; it's always fun to go bowling! Are there bowling alleys in GB? Are they like the ones in the US?

Cool name! Our women's team was called "Good n Plenty", after the candy. We wore pink tops and black pants. My mixed team was Hye and Mighty (Hye being Armenian, which two of us are).
My summer team has an 83 year old man...VERY good bowler, and two of us in 60's. We are working on a name that plays up the senior aspect.

Might look for a doubles leauge soon again, A 208 was not bad, Bob,What about {Old Codgers,}?
We were thinking of "Gas-lites" because older people tend to, well, you know.... We are a mixed trio, ethnically...maybe something emphasizing that??? Really, I'm more concerned with winning and bowling well.
The 208 was the best game of the 8 who went from here. The averages of the other ladies were up to 85 points less than mine, and one game none of my team of 4 got their averages. I had the high game, a really pathetic 120. We didn't have a 400 team game. Can you imagine. The women had much better doubles/singles scores and may actually win something (not me, though...better luck next time).

I could live with being on the winning team more often...not the runaway games, though, but the ones that come down to the 10th frame. THOSE are always fun because you have to really up your game. Some of my best concentration efforts come in the 10th frame of a close game...well, the 9th frame, actually.
