Each time I turn off my computer it tells me not to because it will download 1 of 3 updates. It tells me that time after time. I had it looked at and was told it had failed to download updates all the time, but it showed hundreds of failures. How can I stop this as it drives me nuts that this keeps happening. Please help.

I sure hope you didn't have to pay someone to tell you it failed it's updates. Most likely something in your firewall or security system is blocking the process. Try putting it into "safe mode with internet", then turn off the firewall and try doing your updates.

go to the control panel, click on "WINDOWS UPDATE" on the left side click on "CHANGE SETTINGS" and enable the option "DO NOT UPDATE WINDOWS "".

your problem will be resolved.this prevents your system to be slow down in system processes.
