they start by draining your blood into the sewer system and while that is happening they inject embalming fluid into you to help push all the blood out. Then they put little things under your eye lids to make it look like you have "normal" eyes. They also do the same trick to your mouth. Then they put make-up on you so you don't look so "dead" to all the people looking at your body. After all of that, they put you a fancy woodbox and display you. Then you get put in the ground.

It's minor compared to the MEDICAL EXAMINER!!  BUT IN RESPONSE TO TSC'S ANSWER,  THIS IS VERY TRUE, there was one arrested for having sex with the female corspes, when asked, WHY, he replied "Because they never say, NO".

The mortician also plugs all of your orifices so the embalming fluid doesn't come out.

If you get embalmed, they drain it of all bodily fluids. Then, they fill up the veins and things with something like alchohol,or formeldehyde to preserve it. Then, they do their hair and makeup and dress it.
