    how do i diagnose my tractors clutch problems?

    Simple, 


    Position the tractor with the front end touching the barn wall.  Start it up, put the clutch in, plce gearshift into third gear, rev engine to about 3,000 RPM.  Let clutch out, if it pushes the barn into the next county, your clutch is fine, if it just sits there and revs and the  barn won't move, then you need a new clutch.
