How is it that in a foreclosure, Chase can't loose because a gov. agency will pay them the difference between price paid in short sale and what I owe on the mortgage? I need to find out what gov. agency this is and do what I can to make sanity out of this insane idea. We would all fare better if the same funds were thrown at me to pay my arrearage-Chase still gets the money, I keep my home and there is one less homeless person and one less vacant foreclosed home in Fort Lauderdale..Someone ple

I'm with you sweetheart. It is probably Fannie Mae that is behind the shenanigans. If you can work the deal, let me know.

Chase will not work with me. Threatening a sale date I was inadvertenly given information and found out Florida Default Law Group cannot proceed on my foreclosure any time soon as they are being audited and have had to cease further action on any of their foreclosures. I could breathe easy for the first time in two years...I still need to find a way to keep my home and now have an income but no lump sum to pay arrearage...
Try and get a Loan Modification. They can put the lump sum owed on the back of the mortgage, and refinance the load to a payment you can afford.
