Akai, Not a Major Brand
Akai is obviously not a major brand; these are "walmart electronics", meaning they are minimal quality manufacture purchased in bulk by major discount stores. My old grocery store sells $30 DVD players from these guys.
Unless you are really strapped for cash, you do not want this TV; it will not last, and the quality while it works will be low.
