Does "Just" a boyfriend mean only holding hands  in public and  no  hugging or kissing in private or in public?  I would say 13 is the youngest age to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend which I described above.

36 was the age I determined for my girls.I lowered my standards tho when I realized they were ignoring me.LOL

I'm with Tom on this ... I think around age 35 ... but in reality 'jjjust' a boyfiend [oops typo] could be in highschool and depending on how mature you are about it all.

My eldest child had a boyfiend at 15 and he was 16 but he turned out to be like this little old man in a boy suit... eat then sleep ... pretty much all he did. LOL

i think it partly depends on your family background and culture.  some cultures marry their daughters off at 13. some kill the girls if they look at a boy before marriage.  some parents don't know and the girls have boyfriends from the time they are 11. it depends on so many factors.  i personally think 17 or 18 is a good age to look at boys.  but you can have crushes at a younger age and not act on it.  i kissed a boy that i liked, on his cheek at 8 years old.  he had jelly on his face. i swore to God that i would never kiss another boy again. but when i got 17 i did.
